Chrysoprase is considered the most valuable stone in the chalcedony group.
The name (Greek-gold-leek) seems misapplied today.
The microscopic fine quartz fibers have a radial structure. The coloring agent is nickel. Large broken pieces are often full of fissures with irregular colors.
Color can fade in sunlight and when heated (becareful when soldering). Colors may recover under moist storage.
There are 8 Chrysoprase(s) organised in the following categories: Cabochon Lot, Cabochon Single, Facet Single, gemstones.
Price of our Chrysoprase range from USD 21.00 to USD 111.00 and all gemstones are 100% natural. No lab, created or synthetic gemstones.
We grade our stones with strict adherence to current GIA (Gemological Institute of America) standards for color, tone, hue, saturation and clarity and all gems are identified and graded only by GIA certified gemologists.
