Natural Fibrolite
Fibrolite also known as sillimanite, is a silicate mineral which crystallizes in the orthorhombic system. The crystals often occur as long slender prisms without distinct terminations.
They have one direction of cleavage parallel to one pair of the prism faces and are frequently fibrous, hence the name fibrolite. Fibrolites are frequently fashioned en cabochon and are well known for their remarkable chatoyancy or cats eye effect.
The chatoyant effect is a result of the reflection of light from the fibrous material.
There are 2 Fibrolite(s) organised in the following categories: Cabochon Single, Facet Single, gemstones.
Price of our Fibrolite range from USD 211.00 to USD 211.00 and all gemstones are 100% natural. No lab, created or synthetic gemstones.
We grade our stones with strict adherence to current GIA (Gemological Institute of America) standards for color, tone, hue, saturation and clarity and all gems are identified and graded only by GIA certified gemologists.
