Rhodonite is named after the Greek word for rose, rhodon. It is a popular mineral among collectors. Rhodonite is also a minor gemstone, being cut and polished into cabochons, beads, and other ornamental objects. Some massive specimens are sold to collectors after being sliced and polished.
Rhodonite's pink color often has black manganese oxide veins running through it, giving it a distinct appearance. For this reason it is carved into beads, cabochons, and ornamental objects. In 18th century Russia, it was used extensively for decorating the Russian court.
There are 15 Rhodonite(s) organised in the following categories: Cabochon Lot, Cabochon Single, Facet Lot, Facet Single, Rough, gemstones.
