Shipping and Returns

We are happy to send your order to virtually any address in the world and we offer various shipping options for your order, however we will ship only to a street address, not a P.O. Box address and signature is always required upon order arrival.

The shipping charges are per shipment ( e.g. "order" ) and the same for any destination.Remember that to find out when you will receive an item, you need to consider the availability of the items you are ordering as well as the shipping option you select.

If you have decided that you do not want the merchandise after it has been shipped, but before it arrives, DO NOT REFUSE THE POSTAL DELIVERY. If the merchandise is refused you will be liable for brokerage charges and duty incurred upon its return.

Shipping rates and options

We offer various shipping options for your order and will ship only to a street address, not a P.O. Box address and signature is always required upon order arrival. When ordering via on-line order checkout you can select any of the shipping options below:

  • Federal Express – USD 20.00
    3-4 Business days worldwide No weekend delivery. Signature upon delivery is required. Cannot be ship to P.O. Boxes or FPO/APO.
  • Registered Mail – USD 6.00
    15-35 business days worldwide. Parcels cannot be tracked online. Signature upon delivery is not required. Registered mail can be shipped to P.O. Boxes or FPO/APO. For USA we recomend to use Fed Ex for safety, speed, and value.

The shipping charges are per shipment ( e.g. "order" ) and the same for any destination. Please note: delivery times to BFPO addresses are dependent on British Forces Post Office schedules.

Items availability guide

The availability of an item refers to the length of time it takes before the item is available for us to send to you. For example, if an item is in the fulfillment centre t will have 24-hour availability. In other cases, we may have to receive the item from the bank or sale office, so it will take longer for you to receive it.

  • Usually ships within 24 hours
    This is the estimated time it will take to pack it and prepare it for dispatch. The Icgems.com on-line inventory database is current and most displayed items are available and can usually be shipped within 24 hours.
  • Other specific length of time (eg: 3-4 days)
    This item is available but not in our fulfillment centre and this is the estimated time it will take us to receive it from the bank or office, pack it and prepare it for dispatch.

Once you know the availability, you can use the dispatch time to calculate the total delivery time for the item:

Item Availability + Dispatch Time = Total Delivery Time

To keep you fully informed of the progress of your order, we will send you one e-mail when we dispatch your items from our fulfillment centre, confirming the date, contents and method of delivery.

Package tracking

If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, follow the links below for more information. If you are not sure whether or not your order has been shipped, check the status of your recent orders in your account.

  • Federal Express

  • Registered Mail
    Registered mail do not have tracking numbers, but you may be able to get more information on this package by contacting your local post office or your letter carrier.

Once you have followed the link to the appropriate shipper website, you will be prompted for the shipment tracking number. You can find this number at the bottom of the confirmation e-mail message sent to you at the time of shipment.

Undeliverable packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a full refund including shipping charges.

We are unable to re-send orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our website.

If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return or refund after 4 weeks from the estimated delivery date, please contact us.

Order delivery insurance

Our order delivery insurance covers loss of goods on arrival and during transit from Icgemscom office to the delivery address and damaged goods on arrival.

Order delivery insurance is required and is a part of our package deal that allows us to offer discounted shipping rates. The 1 USD + 1 % of the total goods value will be automatically added to every order irrespective of your shipping selection.

Shipping restrictions

To be able to serve our international customers, Icgems.com thoroughly investigates and checks all international orders for fraud and we will prosecute to the full extent of the law for any fraudulent activities, which may arise.

We reserves the right to hold up or refuse to ship any international order it deems fraudulent. Due to high risk of fraud, Icgems.com does not ship to the following countries:

This list may change at any time at our discretion due to an increase in insurance claims and fraudulent credit card transactions and other country´s trade restrictions or import practices.

Import customs and duties

When ordering gemstones from Icgems.com for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you, since we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Icgems.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Returning an item or an order

You may return items purchased at Icgems.com within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error.

To return an item or an order, all you have to do is:

  1. Make sure that you read and understand our Return Policy.
  2. Sign in to your account, select "View and Manage Orders or Auctions" and click "Return" on the right of Shipped Orders. Fill the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request form and we will send you a RMA number. Packages without this number will not be accepted.
  3. Secure your item and all of the original packing materials, including packing slip and the gem certificate if appropriate, in a plainly wrapped cardboard box (the post office has these available if you do not).
  4. Clearly print your name and address on the outside of the package in the return area and mail the package by a traceable carrier such as UPS, USPS, DHL or Federal Express to:

Please be careful: you should not write jewelry, gemstones, gems, sapphires, emeralds, ruby, colour gems, credit card, credit card number, diamonds or other luxury-related words anywhere on the package, as this invites possible theft of the package.
